UAE Cybersecurity Council is Hero of the Pandemic - Security & Defence
H.E. Dr Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti thanks "hidden soldiers" ensuring secure cyber services in his acceptance speech
Accepting the award, H.E. Dr Al Kuwaiti said: "I would like to thank those who were 'hidden soldiers'. Everybody knows about the Ministry of Health, everybody knows about nurses, doctors and volunteers.
"As matter of fact there were hidden soldiers who ensured Zoom is continuing to work, Teams is working securely, and your communications and data on the cloud are kept safe.
"We thank those behind the lines who ensured the continuity of digital services."
Dr Al Kuwaiti also thanked the UAE Government for creating an enabling environment for the UAE Cybersecurity Council to do its work most effectively.
