In the above interview, 2-time World Champion boxer Amir Khan speaks exclusively with famous television personality and Heroes of the Pandemic Presenter Katie Jensen on his recent move to Dubai, the potential for boxing to grow in the Middle East region, as well as offering sage life advice for every person chasing their dreams.

Jensen begins by asking Khan, ‘Why move to Dubai in a pandemic?’, to which Khan outlines how Dubai is like a ‘second home’ that he’s been coming to for 10 years.

Amir Khan also outlines how he has a role in the region as the World Boxing Council (WBC) Middle East President, and he believes that after seeing the development of professional sport in Saudi Arabia, there’s a huge opportunity for Dubai to host global sporting events too, especially boxing.

Khan stated how he aims to be back in ring by the end of year before adding a sage send-off befitting an event which marks heroes of the pandemic, and the beginning of our post-pandemic era:

“Always chase your dreams in life,” Khan said, adding: “You might get beat, but don’t give up, give it your best and you can become number one.”
