MAWANI Saudi Arabia Wins Ports Infrastructure of the Year 2025 Award
The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has won the Ports Infrastructure of the Year 2025 Award at the TLME Achievement Awards 2025 held at Millennium Lakeview Hotel in Dubai Investments Park with well-known Dubai TV personality Katie Jensen MCing on the evening.
The Saudi Ports Authority is reshaping the future of maritime trade through the strategic expansion and development of world-class port infrastructure.
Recently, MAWANI concluded the expansion and development of the largest privatization contracts in Saudi port history - with nearly SAR 16 billion invested to upgrade and operate container terminals at Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam.
These landmark projects are enhancing capacity, boosting efficiency, and elevating global competitiveness.
To accommodate the world’s largest vessels, MAWANI deepened the northwest approach channel and turning basin at Jeddah Islamic Port — enabling it to handle ships carrying more than 24,000 TEUs.
To meet the demands of global trade, Mawani is also developing a comprehensive network of cutting-edge logistics parks across Saudi ports.
These initiatives form part of a bold strategic investment exceeding SAR 10 billion to develop 20 logistics zones - advancing Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics hub and delivering on the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Saudi Ports Authority is building the gateways that connect nations, driving economic growth, and shaping Saudi Arabia’s maritime future.
