The Saudi Ports Authority “Mawani” has announced the addition of the new shipping service “IMB1” by “CSTAR LINE” to Jeddah Islamic Port, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance maritime connectivity between the Kingdom and the world, and to support national import and export movement.

This initiative aligns with Mawani’s continuous efforts to improve trade flow between Saudi ports and regional and international ports, while increasing operational efficiency to boost the competitive advantage of Saudi ports.

This is in line with the targets of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy “NTLS”, to solidify the Kingdom’s standing as a global logistics hub bridging the three continents.

The new shipping service links Jeddah Islamic Port with the ports of Nhava Sheva and Mundra in India, Evyap in Turkey, Novorossiysk in Russia, and Jebel Ali in the UAE, with a handling capacity of up to 2,100 TEUs.

It is worth noting that Mawani’s partnerships with major global shipping lines contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of Jeddah Islamic Port, expanding its maritime service network, and supporting its operational efficiency - further enhancing its standing as a strategic logistics hub on the Red Sea coast.
