After an illustrious career with FedEx, making invaluable contributions over decades to the Fortune 500 company, Mr Hamdi Osman decided to start a new air cargo and aviation firm of his own, SolitAir.

TLME Chairman Joe Beydoun asked Mr Osman why instead of retiring on his professional laurels and success he decided to get back into the grind with a brand new company of his own?

“At the end of the day it is all about passion”, says Mr Osman who is passionate about making the transport and logistics industry better and more efficient in every way.

During the corona pandemic everything came to a standstill and the only thing that was moving was air cargo and aviation. Mr Osman felt he had to get involved in this market and decided to form is own niche air cargo company, SolitAir.

Although, it took over 2 years to begin operations, Mr Osman is glad he had the patience to see his dream realised and today, he runs a successful and rapidly expanding express air freight carrier serving the Global South.

“Passion and patience” are the secret to great companies and leaders, concluded Mr Osman.

Creating the First Middle East Logistics Hub for FedEx in Dubai
