Al-Futtaim Logistics has won the Hero of the Pandemic - Fulfilment Award at the TLME Heroes of the Pandemic Awards 2021 hosted by TV news presenter Katie Jensen with celebrity and 2x World Champion Boxer, Amir Khan presenting the Special Recognition Awards.

The pandemic has seen fulfilment companies face new pressures, with unheralded demand being forced upon them.

Al-Futtaim Logistics have reached new heights during the pandemic and provided a consistent service of order fulfilment achieving record delivery times, while growing and developing their own aptitudes simultaneously.

In the past 15 months Al-Futtaim Logistics has deployed new technologies in their systems for contract logistics, general transport and last-mile deliveries achieving unmatched performance levels for its customers.

In this exclusive video top management of Al-Futtaim Logistics, Dr Raman Kumar, Managing Director and Mr Vargheese Anthony, General Manager - Freight & Relocation, express their thoughts on emerging winners of the Hero of the Pandemic - Fulfilment Award.

Appreciating the concept of the Heroes of the Pandemic awards Mr Anthony said that Al-Futtaim's infrastructure, its people and their knowhow has helped the company succesfully meet the challenges of the last 15 months.

On the pandemic, Mr Anthony said: "We don't believe that it's gone. It will be there with us for some more time with us and we are fully prepared to handle this tough time. Our people are now well aware on how to handle such kind of a pandemic.

"The pandemic has changed customer behaviour and people's shopping preferences. And this is likely to continue and we are preparing ourselves well to handle future requirements."
