LogiPoint has announced plans to construct a new 12,000-square-metre Grade-A temperature-controlled logistics facility within Jeddah’s 1st Industrial City, reinforcing the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen its supply chain and cold storage capabilities.

The new development is designed to meet growing demand for high-quality temperature-controlled warehousing from sectors including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and retail.

Once completed by December 31st 2026, the facility will provide advanced storage solutions that support the safe handling and distribution of temperature-sensitive products across Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

Project features include:

  • A 13.5 meter net height to support high-density storage

  • Four thermal control units, 3,000 square meters per unit

  • Dedicated loading areas, load cranes, access ramps, and office spaces per unit.

The project forms part of LogiPoint’s broader strategy to expand its portfolio of modern logistics infrastructure and support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives, which aim to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub.

The facility will feature state-of-the-art refrigeration systems, energy-efficient technologies, and operational standards aligned with international best practices.

Located in Jeddah’s 1st Industrial City, the development offers direct access to key transportation networks, including major highways, ports, and distribution corridors.

This strategic location is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce delivery times for businesses operating in the western region of the Kingdom.

Industry observers note that demand for temperature-controlled logistics infrastructure continues to rise as businesses seek reliable storage and distribution solutions for perishable and sensitive goods.

The new facility is expected to contribute to the expansion of Saudi Arabia’s cold chain network while supporting economic diversification and private sector growth.
