Careem Scoops Key Made in UAE Recognition

Creators of an innovative ‘Super App’ and transport network providers Careem have won the heralded Made in UAE 2019 Award for their unique work in creating new connections and platforms for individuals in the North Africa, Middle East and sub-continent regions.

Centred in Dubai, Careem services a region of over 600 million people that extends from Morocco to Pakistan.

The company started with the mission to offer the aforementioned regions a new level of connectivity.

The Made in UAE Award highlights the burgeoning focus of the UAE government to celebrate and grow organic Emirati culture and commerce in the region.
