Industry Guru Dr Yvo Saanen Announced as Key Conference Speaker
One of the leading minds in automation and digitalisation in ports and terminals worldwide, Dr Yvo Saanen, has been confirmed as a key speaker for the Future-Proof Technologies Conference to be held in Dubai on the 13th of December, 2023.
Bringing nearly three decades of experience and innovation to the conference, Dr Saanen will feature in several sessions and will highlight how we can achieve resilient, agile and sustainable business practices within an increasingly complex environment.
Dr Saanen is presently the MD of Portwise, a world-leading consultancy and simulation firm for ports and terminals worldwide, prior to that he was the Founder and driving force behind the software solution provider TBA.
The projects Dr Saanen has undertaken in his career range from terminal design and planning, port optimization, and smart automation and simulation in major ports globally.
Dr Saanen is also a university lecturer and industry trainer who has written over 70 practice-oriented papers about simulation, process improvement, automation, emulation, and container terminals, amongst other fields.
