Combining Data Analytics with IoT Can Create Critical Supply Chain Insights

Moving further into the first session of TLME’s Future-Proof Technologies Conference held recently in Dubai, conference moderator and CEO & Partner at Vespucci Maritime, Lars Jensen, ask the panellists what they were doing to ensure the quality of the data they using for their systems – particularly in the Middle East where digitalising was growing rapidly.

Erik Lund, SVP Logistics Solutions at Nexxiot, said that his company was addressing the data quality issue by deploying technologies that provided direct feeds of location and condition data for a given cargo independent of any third parties.

Nexxiot was today moving from a pureplay IoT company and has entered the field of innovative data analytics to provide value added services for its customers so they can realise the full benefits of digitalisation.
