Super-scale Container Ship ‘COSCO Shipping VIRGO’ Delivered
A Chinese shipbuilder has delivered the mega vessel for Cosco Shipping
Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has built and delivered a large-scale container ship to COSCO in China, according to a video released by New China TV.
The ship is larger than an aircraft carrier and is said to have a deck area that is larger than four football fields.
Cosco Shipping Virgo measures at 58.6 meters wide and 399.8 meters long with a projected capacity of 20,119 TEU.
