Exclusive Video: Saudi Global Ports Maintains Operations with Safety

CEO of Saudi Global Ports Company, Edward Tah, describes the twin challenges faced by his company during the pandemic. The first was to maintain smooth business operations while making sure that all employees are “properly protected”.

The second challenge was integrating the operations of Terminal 1 and 2 of King Abdul Aziz Seaport as Saudi Global Ports were given the mandate to operate both terminals. These terminals were successfully and fully integrated by October 2020.

Another achievement of his company Mr Tah highlights has been the employee vaccination drive. 94% of staff has registered for vaccination and 70% have already received their first dose.

Mr Tah hopes to achieve 100% vaccination of all Saudi Global Ports staff by the end of 2021.
