Capt. Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi Wins Most Innovative Executive Award

The winner of this Special Recognition Award is Capt. Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi Managing Director & Group CEO, ABU DHABI Ports Group.

Capt. Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi has led Abu Dhabi Ports Group from a project-focused organisation to a fully operational, integrated business across 5 clusters - Digital, Economic Cities & Free Zones, Logistics, Maritime, and Ports.

Under the leadership of Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, AD Ports Group holds a prime position in the region’s commercial maritime industry, whilst boosting Abu Dhabi’s global profile.

Since joining AD Ports Group in 2008, Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi has held key leadership positions within its portfolio, including Executive Vice President for the Ports unit, where he was instrumental in restructuring and rationalising its assets. He also oversaw the completion and commissioning of the first phase of the group’s flagship Khalifa Port and KIZAD, its adjacent economic zone.

It is no surprise then that Capt. Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi has won the Most Innovative Executive Award for 2022.
