Exclusive Video: Aramex - Pandemic Challenges ‘Like Driving in Fog’

Middle East-based logistics firm Aramex has outlined the massive challenges it has faced as an organisation in the past year due to the global pandemic in its nomination story for the upcoming TLME Heroes of the Pandemic Awards.

In the above video, Anas Hijjawi, CCO of Aramex, explains how the main challenge was the speed of new developments, which meant it was unclear what was exactly required, what the legal regulations were in different regions and how Aramex could best utilise their manpower.

Likening it to ‘driving through fog’, Mr Hajjawi states the main aim was to ensure staff and cargo were kept safe.

He also states he’s proud to play an active role in combating the pandemic in delivering P.P.E. and vaccines on time and in ideal condition to ease the burden on healthcare services.
