Indian Air Force Tejas Light Combat Fighter Jet Crashes at Dubai Airshow
Pilot sustains fatal injuries
An Indian Air Force Tejas fighter plane taking part in a demonstration has crashed this afternoon at Al-Maktoum International Airport during the Dubai Airshow 2025. The plane went down around 2:10 pm Dubai time while performing an aerial display before a large crowd.
Rescue operations began immediately. However, the pilot sustained fatal injuries, according to the Indian Air Force. The plane crashed in an empty area away from spectators and no one else was injured. The Airshow was temporarily halted.
