Exclusive Video: Saudia Cargo is ‘For the People and By the People’

"The biggest challenge when the pandemic took the world by surprise was reshuffling operations, adapting our schedules and to be adaptable and responsive to what customers required as well as to what the country required," says Marwan Niazi VP Commercial at Saudia Cargo.

According to Mr Niazi every country requires reliable air transport that is capable of delivering medical supplies to protect people from Covid-19.

This changed the way Saudia Cargo approached needs of its customers by maximising utilisation and flying more hours while operating passenger aircraft as freighters.

"Our achievements have been fulfilled by our heroes - pilots, crew, cargo specialists and people on the ground," said Mr Niazi.

Saudia with its commitment to humanity has been collaborating with UNICEF to bring medical supplies and vaccines to the less fortunate countries.

"We exist for the people and by the people. Our most human element is the true reason for our success," concludes Mr Niazi.
