According to Mr Al Ali, fulfilling the present high demand for air cargo created by slow-moving sea freight is the biggest challenge.
Etihad Cargo is finding innovative solutions to meet this demand by deploying the latest technologies and at the same time upgrading the skill sets of its workforce so they can make the best use of these technologies.
Mr Al Ali added that strategic partnerships and collaborations were another major focus area for Etihad Cargo. These partnerships had played a critical role in meeting the challenges of the pandemic with the Hope Consortium being an outstanding example of successful collaboration between different players in the healthcare, logistics and technology industries.
“The Hope Consortium is an implementation of our vision that can be taken to a much bigger global perspective and scale,” concluded Mr Al Ali.
