Cebu Pacific Marks Five Years of Dubai Service

Over one million passengers have flown between Manila and Dubai

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines' largest carrier, celebrates the 5th anniversary of its direct service between Dubai and Manila.

Cebu Pacific is the only Low Cost Carrier flying directly between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates.

Cebu Pacific celebrated the milestone with a series of events, highlighted by a specially-prepared "boodle fight" dinner for the Filipino community in Dubai, led by celebrity blogger and digital influencer Kyle "Kulas" Jennerman of Becoming Filipino.

With base fare as low as AED400, flying via Cebu Pacific from Dubai is as much as 64% lower than fares offered by other airlines flying the same route.

Even including other fees, taxes and charges, year-round low fares on Cebu Pacific are still over 50% below its competitors, while consistent with its concept of "no-frills flying."

Since 2013, the Manila-Dubai route has become one of the strongest performers in the entire Cebu Pacific network, with Seat Load Factor—or the percentage of seats filled by passengers—consistently above 85%.

From the maiden flight in October 2013 to September 2018, over one million passengers have flown between Manila and Dubai on Cebu Pacific.
