TLME Future of Logistics Conference Strikes Positive Note

Industry guru Lars Jensen hosts Dubai event

Transport & Logistics Middle East (TLME) has recently completed its annual Future of Logistics Conference, now in its fourth year of operation.

Held in Dubai, the popular conference was hosted by industry guru Lars Jensen, CEO of Vespucci Maritime and previously of Maersk Line.

Offering a comprehensive and insightful look into the present and future logistics sector, the event began with an overview of the industry.

The session gave online and in-person attendees a cutting-edge review of the vital issues in today’s world, as well as providing fertile ground for an open conversation on the meta issues that are most important to businesses across the sector.

The next session was the eponymous Future of Logistics session which gave a detailed review of how operators can create healthy and sustainable businesses.

Other sessions included Question the Experts, Air Transport & Cargo, and Ocean-Bound Cargo & Port Management, before ending with a Look to the Future.

CEO of TLME Sam Khan said: “It’s always an honour to feature some of the leading global voices here with us in Dubai, and given it’s such an exciting time for transport and logistics, this conference was one of our best yet.

“With so many major projects underway, we can really see the Middle East developing as a global leader in logistics.”

The event was held at the prestigious Ritz-Carlton in the Dubai International Financial Centre.

As with prior TLME events, the aim of the conference is to get a broad range of insights from thought-leaders, suppliers, customers, and industry experts to ascertain where we can evolve, and where we must conserve.

The hybrid event had both physical and online audiences, meaning attendees were able to ask questions in person, digitally, or via a private online messenger.
