This latest announcement is the result of five years’ worth of hard work from the Business and HR team; who have been working towards achieving this milestone.

Additionally, females comprise 42% of the company’s national workforce, with an average service length of 3.4 years and 25% having completed more than five years with Dubai Metro.

Phil Malem, CEO, Serco ME, said: “Serco ME aims to ensure that we build and sustain a brand that stands out to UAE Nationals as being an ‘employer of choice’.

“This entails not only a thorough hiring process, but also adequate training, promotion opportunities, and retaining Emirati personnel with Dubai Metro.

“Our scope of operations is aligned with the vision of the RTA and the UAE Government, and we look forward to realising our shared ambitions in the coming years.”

Mansoor Al Falasi, Director of RTA’s Human Resources and Development praised the tireless efforts that Serco exerts to make ends meet in regard to the Emiratisation and employ UAE citizens in different roles and positions.
