Prince Naseem Announced as VIP Guest for TLME Innovation Awards 2022
TLME is proud to confirm the attendance of boxing legend Prince Naseem Hamed to the TLME Innovation Awards 2022 in a move that brings world-renowned star quality to the proceedings.
Prince Naseem is a highly fitting VIP for the event given its core focus is on innovation – something the World Champion boxer exhibited in droves during his career – along with unrivalled skill, lightning-quick speed, and supreme boxing intelligence.
‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed was born in Sheffield, UK, in 1974 to Yemeni parents and quickly rose-up the amateur boxing ranks, securing a European Bantamweight title by only 20 years of age.
Known for his spectacular entrances, natural showmanship, and boxing talent, Hamed went on to hold the WBC, WBO, IBF and IBO titles, making him as one of the finest fighters of his generation.
Hamed has also been highly influential as a cultural figure, inspiring many British fighters that followed him, including World Champions Carl Froch, Tyson Fury, and prior TLME special guest Amir Khan.
Yet Prince Naseem’s reach went far beyond just influencing other boxers with him becoming an iconic figure in the 90s representing confidence, skill, and showmanship.
