Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced the launch of its new GULF SHUTTLE service, strengthening short-sea connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
With a capacity of up to 3,000 standard containers, the service will operate between King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam and Khalifa Bin Salman Port, offering a streamlined logistics solution for regional trade.
The GULF SHUTTLE is designed to provide faster and more reliable cargo movement across the Arabian Gulf. By reducing transit times and improving schedule consistency, MSC aims to support regional businesses.
The new service reflects growing demand for intra-Gulf trade and highlights the company’s focus on expanding its regional network.
The shuttle will also help ease current congestion on land transport routes by shifting more cargo to sea, contributing to more sustainable logistics operations.
