In an exclusive TLME podcast, Dilip Kumar Sitlani, Chairman & Founder, Connect Worldwide Cargo (CWC) had candid tete-a-tete on a wide of range of issues with CEO and Publisher of Transport & Logistics M.E., Sam Khan.

On business volumes in the last one or two months for CWC, Mr Sitlani – much to our surprise - said it had been “better than the previous six months”.

Mr Sitlani said he was as surprised as anybody else and attributed this unexpected success to “timing and experience”.

As passenger operations sharply dropped, CWC quickly pivoted towards charter operations that have delivered better yields and better air cargo movements with the “big birds” like the like 747s and 777s.

On the prospects of business for the rest of 2026, Mr Sitlani averred that regular cargo movement will continue as usual but e-commerce/quick-commerce, pharmaceuticals and perishables are going to be key sectors to drive rapid growth moving forward in 2026.
