Air cargo industry veteran emphasises on the importance of creating resilient operations for the next generation of air cargo and logisitics leaders

Given his experience of over 45 years in the transport and logistics industry, TLME asked Mr Hamdi Osman, Founder and CEO of SolitAir, what advice would he give to the next generation of entrepreneurs on dealing with crises like the one the world is facing today.

Having lived in Port Saeed, Egypt during his early years before moving to the USA, Mr Hamdi said he was no stranger to conflict zones.

The current situation in the Middle East, he said, can be an experience of a lifetime for the younger generation. And they can take a lesson from the exemplary leadership of the UAE who had the vision and foresight to create systems that “planned for a rainy day.”
