The Netherlands has revealed its pavilion for its participation in the Dubai World Expo 2020.
The world exhibition will be held from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, and is the first in the Gulf region.
More than 200 countries and organizations present themselves there. 20 to 25 million business and private visitors are expected.
The Gulf region is an important area for the Netherlands.
Companies from the Netherlands export more than US$11 billion to countries in the GCC, and there are also large investors in the Gulf region backing Dutch businesses.
The Netherlands has stated it stands to gain an “even better network with governments, companies and scientists in the Gulf region” by participating in the Expo.
